When driving into or out of your home’s perimeter, a Smart Notification pops up on your center display. It’s the myQ Connected Garage feature inside the AcuraLink™ app, giving you easy access to garage door control.

To start your free trial, link your myQ account to your AcuraLink™ account through your smartphone. You must have an active AcuraLink™ account to link your myQ account.

Your compatible garage door of choice will show up on your vehicle’s center display under the myQ tab in the AcuraLink™ app.

See if your Acura is compatible

Download the AcuraLink™ app. Available in the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Make sure you have your VIN handy and follow the in-app instructions to sign up for a AcuraLink account.

Go to the Manage Feature section. If your car is compatible, a ‘myQ Connected Garage’ option will be available. Do not select this option just yet.
