Rogue drivers can now check their garage door status and control it from their touchscreen, even when they are away from home and never worry about leaving the garage door open again.

Do you have a myQ connected garage?
Link myQ to NissanConnect®
Be sure your vehicle is parked safely and follow the steps on your Nissan touchscreen display.
Navigate to ‘myQ Garage’ from your touchscreen app menu.
Scan the QR code
Download the myQ app. Available in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Scan the QR code and enter your login information when prompted. Tap ‘Authorize’ on your phone and review the disclaimer on your Nissan touchscreen display. Press ‘OK’ when finished.
Congratulations, you’re all set up!
You’ll be able to see all your connected garage doors on your myQ Connected Garage dashboard, and freely customize preferences based on your lifestyle.

Check your garage door opener’s compatibility
Use the myQ Compatibility Tool to check your garage door opener.
Follow the instructions from the Compatibility Tool.
For non-compatible garage door openers, you can purchase a Smart Garage® Control to get connected.
Create a myQ account and connect your compatible device
Download the myQ app. Available in the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Register to create a myQ account and follow the instructions inside the app to complete your set up.
Connect your garage
If you’ve already connected your Wi-Fi garage opener to myQ, skip this step, or connect it now.
If you obtained a new myQ Smart Garage® Control or Wi-Fi garage opener, use the myQ app and connect to it now.
Link myQ to NissanConnect® Services

- myQ access control require a myQ-enabled garage door opener or a Smart Garage (R) Control device. Check if your garage door opener is myQ compatible:
- If you are new to myQ, download the myQ Garage & Access Control mobile app onto your mobile device, create an account, and sign in.
- Connect your myQ connected garage door devices via myQ mobile app using the onscreen setup tutorial and ensure they are controllable via myQ mobile app before linking.
- Be sure your vehicle is parked safely either inside or outside of your garage before beginning.
- Ensure there are no garage door obstructions.
Onboarding Instructions
- Power on your vehicle and remain in the parked position
- From your vehicle’s touchscreen, navigate to the Apps list and select myQ Garage
- Scan the QR Code using your mobile device
- This will take you to a myQ | Nissan welcome page
- On your mobile device, tap Sign In if you are an existing myQ User
- If you are a new myQ user, tap Learn More to get signed up
- Review Authorization ‘Consent’ and tap Authorize
- Review ‘Disclaimer’ on the vehicle touchscreen and tap OK
- Your vehicle is now linked to your myQ garage door opener(s)
- Power on your vehicle and remain in the parked position
- Position your vehicle in your driveway, outside of the garage door
- Navigate to the Apps list and select myQ Garage
- Tap on your garage door pencil edit icon and ensure your garage door opener is set as default
- Enable Geofencing Mode then tap on Add to Set Garage Location
- Tap Set when you see your location on the displayed map
- Set Geofencing Range (ft) to your preferred distance.
- Note: Performance may vary depending on your geographic location and GPS signal/availability
The service is included in your NissanConnect® Services on compatible vehicles with the select package for 5 years.
