PAC Land Development: Upgraded access control for an upscale community
PAC Land Development transformed access and security at its upscale Mallory Square apartment complex in Orlando, Florida, with LiftMaster hardware powered by myQ Community. The switch eliminated outdated PIN-code systems, gave them far more reliable customer service and created a secure, seamless experience for both residents and property managers.
The Challenge: Find reliable service and more secure access
Mallory Square, a 284-unit community, previously used access solutions that relied heavily on PIN codes and offered inconsistent, unreliable customer service. Residents often shared codes freely. Meanwhile, PAC's property team faced long wait times for support and struggled with delayed system updates and lack of integration with their property management software, RealPage.
The Solution: Smart, responsive access with myQ | LiftMaster
PAC adopted the LiftMaster smart video intercom and access control hardware integrated with the myQ Community platform. The cloud-based system enabled Bluetooth keyless entry, streamlined RealPage integration, and 24/7 visibility through video monitoring. The hardware provided a sleek, modern look while enabling full coverage — from clubhouse and amenities to vehicle and pedestrian gates.

The Result: Stronger security, better operations, happier residents
The upgrade eliminated PIN-code vulnerabilities, giving residents peace of mind with smartphone-based access. Move-ins became faster and easier thanks to near-instant syncing with RealPage. The intuitive app, guest pass functionality, and responsive customer support stood out—so much so that PAC is now rolling out myQ and LiftMaster across two additional communities under construction.
